Currency & Taxes

Prices are displayed in multiple currencies. GST is applicable as per Indian law. International taxes and duties depend on the shipping method you choose at checkout.

Because we work with raw materials like silver, brass, glass, and gemstones — whose costs can fluctuate — prices may change without prior notice.

Payment Methods

All payments are securely processed through:

We support international payments in multiple currencies. Bank transfers are not accepted.

Order Acceptance

Surmeyi reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at its discretion. If an order is cancelled, you will be notified and any payment will be reversed.

All products ship from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We deliver within India and internationally.

Your total delivery time is determined by two factors:

Step 1 — Product Type & Dispatch

• Ready to Ship — dispatched within 2–3 business days. These are in-stock items with no production wait.
• Pre-Order / Made to Order — handcrafted for you. Production timelines are listed on each product page and vary by piece.

Step 2 — Shipping Method

• Standard International — estimated 5–10 business days. Delivered Duties Paid (DDP), meaning all duties and taxes are included in your order total. Nothing extra to pay on arrival.
• Expedited — faster transit time, but duties and taxes (if applicable) are payable by you upon delivery.

Calculating Total Delivery Time

Total time = production time (Step 1) + shipping time (Step 2). For example, a ready-to-ship item with standard shipping would arrive in roughly 7–15 business days.

What We Accept

We accept returns for exchanges or store credit only. We do not offer refunds to the original payment method.

Timeframe

Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of purchase.

How to Start a Return

1. Email us at hi@surmeyi.com with your order number
2. We'll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions
3. Ship the item back in unused, original condition
4. Once received, we'll process your exchange or issue store credit

Conditions

Items must be unused and returned in their original condition. Surmeyi reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these criteria.

Every Surmeyi piece is made by hand by skilled artisans in Jaipur. This means slight variations are not only expected — they're what make each piece one of a kind.

Natural Variations May Include

• Texture and surface finish
• Stone placement and color
• Patina
• Shape and form
• Minor size differences

These are characteristics of handcrafted jewelry, not defects. They reflect the human touch behind every piece and are part of Surmeyi's design philosophy.

We hold ourselves to the highest quality standards in both raw materials and finished products.

What's Covered

Production-related defects are covered for 1 year from date of purchase. This includes manufacturing faults in structure, closures, and stone settings.

What's Not Covered

• Customer negligence or mishandling
• Improper storage
• Exposure to chemicals, perfume, or water
• Physical impact damage
• Normal wear and tear over time

How to File a Claim

Email hi@surmeyi.com with photos and your order number. Final determination of defect eligibility rests with Surmeyi.

What We Collect

We collect and process personal data — such as your name, email, shipping address, and payment information — solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders and communicating with you about your purchases.

2. Return the item at your own cost within 14 days
3. Refunds (where applicable under EU law) will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection legislation. These terms supplement — but do not replace — any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

Termination

Surmeyi reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to this website at its discretion in the event of a breach of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan hold exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms.

Arbitration

In the event of a dispute, the matter shall be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed by Surmeyi. Proceedings will be conducted in English under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

EU Consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union, this clause does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. You also retain the right to seek resolution through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
